I really, really love horses. I am born and
raised in the Netherlands.
My passion for horses started when I was 8 years
old and got regular riding lesson at the local stables. The riding school I went to gave me a very classical
continental background. The old classical principles of horse management,
dressage and jumping to my opinion are the best.
I didn't have my own pony, so I rode many
different and difficult ones in exchange for work in the stables, but that made
me even more determent.
Riding so many also gave me a deep understanding
of their diverse needs during training.
When I was 18 years old I teached horseback
riding at "Camp "Lets" Edgewater, Maryland, USA.
After rising to Israel, I founded and manage
Ra'anana Riding Club.
The harmony experienced sometimes, when working
with or riding horses, brings about such a feeling of euphoria , that I make it
my life work, to improve my partnership with horses and try to have others
experience the same marvelous thing.
-
No rider ever stops learning, and the day they
think they have is the day their standards will drop.
-
Every horse teaches me something, and I learn
something from every rider that I teach.
I daily ride my 2 horses, Camelot a grey Arabian
gelding and Supreme Geisha a bay Thoroughbred mare.
Favorite achievements:

My Advice to newcomers:
-
Learn on a experienced schoolmaster horse.
-
Get the proper equipment right from the start;
Safe and comfortable riding boots, gloves & riding helmet.
-
Dedicated professional instructor.
-
Controlled environment fenced arena.
-
Keep confident and safe: Always under-horse
yourself. Leave that prancing, snorting, gorgeous young stallion alone for now.
-
Never agree to try an exercise that is outside
your or your horses comfort zone.
-
Having a good secure, safe position is
incredible important, I know you want to jump and gallop away, but restrain
until you got your basics established.
-
Plug in your seat bones and sit up!
