Instructions before your ride

General:

We advice to arrive at least 15 minutes before your lesson, so you have time to fit a helmet and riding boots and /or prepare your horse, take him from his stable etc.

Dress code:

It is compulsory to wear proper riding helmet and riding boots. Proper riding boots have a flat sole and a small heel to prevent to get stuck in the stirrup. Sport shoes, crocs, sandals, platforms are not suitable for riding, and therefore forbidden. We offer riding helmets and riding boots free of charge. Bring head cover bandana and ski socks.

At the premises we also have a small tack shop that sells certified riding helmets and riding boots.

Wear long pants tucked inside the boots, preferable close fitting lycra legging.

Do not wear bulky clothes that obstruct the view of the instructor, your body movements need to be seen in order to be corrected. For religious girls and women a wide skirt can be worn over the legging with boots. Do not wear expensive jewelry since it can get lost, also it is not allowed to wear dangling earrings since they can get stuck.

The weather:

According to British tradition we ride in all weather. Dress accordingly.
