Pony Ride

Wonderful activity to do with your kid. This is the stuff childhood memories are made of. At Ra'anana Riding Club we ponies of different sizes and colors with special child size saddles.

Age & weight limit:

Suitable age 4-10. Maximum weight 50 kg. The moment the child can sit independently on a chair,  they can sit in a saddle.

If your child is under 4 years, you better come with 2 adults, one to lead the pony, and one to stay close to the child. Are you visiting with children of different age groups? We can give an introduction riding lesson simultaneously (riding lessons need reservation in advance, pony rides need not.)

What to wear:

Parents are happiest wearing easy walking shoes, and long trousers, children are happiest wearing rubber rain boots and private bicycle helmet. (riding helmets are available free of charge)

Feeding the ponies:

It is allowed to bring fresh carrots and apples from the home to feed the ponies.

Do not hand feed them, but  present the food to them in a bucket.

We sell healthy pony cubes at the farm shop for 12 nis per basket.

Cost:

Pony cost 35 NIS per half an hour. If you have more kids, you can take more ponies, or take rides in turns on one pony. No need for reservation
